How do I get a free estimate?

Call or text (619) 972-3798, or send the form with your name, phone, and what needs work. Photos of the room, wall, or crack help us price it. You get the estimate before any work starts.

What does Pacific Coast Contracting do?

We paint interiors and exteriors, install and repair stucco, hang and patch drywall, repair concrete, and coat siding so it stays protected. The office is at 7915 Silverton Ave Ste 302, San Diego, CA 92126.

Do you haul junk?

No. Pacific Coast Contracting does not haul junk, remove household waste, or run a hauling service. We work on paint, stucco, drywall, concrete, and siding protection.

Do you remodel houses?

No. Pacific Coast Contracting does not remodel kitchens, bathrooms, or whole houses, and we do not build additions. We paint, repair stucco, hang and patch drywall, repair concrete, and coat siding.

Where do you work?

San Diego County. The office is in Mira Mesa at 7915 Silverton Ave Ste 302, San Diego, CA 92126, and crews go to the property. If your city is not listed, call and ask.

How is the price set?

Prep, access, height, and how much surface is failing all change the number. We do not publish a flat price list. The estimate is free, and it is specific to your job.

Do I need to be home?

For most painting and repair, yes, so we can walk the surfaces with you. If access is already agreed and someone can let us in, say that when you book.

Can you match old stucco so a patch disappears?

We match texture as close as the wall allows. Faded color coat does not always hide a small patch. When a larger area should be coated so the repair does not flash, we say so before we start.

What should I do before the crew arrives?

Move small valuables and fragile items off the walls and sills. Tell us about pets, gates, and HOA color rules. If the house was built before 1978, say so, because sanding old paint needs a plan.

How long does an interior repaint take?

A few rooms is often a couple of days once prep is done. A whole house takes longer. Timing goes on the estimate after we see the walls.

Do you move furniture?

We shift light pieces and cover the rest. Large furniture, safes, and fragile items should be moved before we arrive, or called out on the estimate.

Can you paint over glossy trim?

Only after it is sanded or primed so the new coat grabs. We do not roll finish paint over a slick surface.

How often should a San Diego house be painted outside?

It depends on sun, the last prep, and how close you are to the ocean. We tell you what the wall is doing now. We do not quote a generic year count.

Do you paint stucco?

Yes. Chalky stucco gets the prep it needs. Wide cracks may be a stucco repair, not just paint. We will say which one you are looking at.

Do you paint wood siding?

Yes, when the boards are sound enough to coat. Soft or split boards get called out before we paint over them. Full siding replacement is a different conversation.

Can you make a stucco patch invisible?

We match the texture as close as the wall allows. Faded color coat can still show a small patch. If a larger area should be coated, that is part of the estimate.

Do you install new stucco?

Yes, when new stucco is the agreed scope for that wall or section. We do not treat a crack repair and a full re-stucco as the same job.

Should cracked stucco just be painted?

Hairline checks sometimes take paint. Open cracks should be repaired first or the paint will telegraph them. We will tell you which case you are in.

Can you match knockdown or orange peel?

Often, yes. We sample it when the existing texture is heavy or inconsistent. We will tell you if a perfect match is unlikely.

Do you repair ceilings that are already open?

Yes. We hang new board once the opening is ready and any leak is handled, then tape and finish it.

Will you paint the patch?

Yes, when paint is on the estimate. A spot repair usually needs paint or the patch will show, even when the mud is smooth.

Do you repair concrete cracks?

Yes. We fill cracks and seal joints, including the joint at the base of a block wall. We do not pour new foundations or structural slabs.

Can you rebuild a leaning block wall?

Small failed sections can be a repair. A wall that is leaning or separating from the house needs an engineer before anyone rebuilds it. We will tell you if that is what we see.

Do you tuckpoint brick?

Yes. Failed joints get cut out and repointed. We do not paint over open joints and call that a concrete repair.

Do you install new siding?

No. This service is painting and protection for siding that can take a coat. If boards are soft or split, we tell you before we paint them.

Do you paint fiber-cement siding?

Yes, when it is already the siding on the house. We prep and coat it. Factory-finish rules vary by product, so we confirm what is on the wall.

Can siding paint and stucco paint be one visit?

Often, yes, when both are on the same house. They are still separate lines on the estimate because the prep is different.
